About this Kalley R10G list

Header: Kalley R10G (device R10G, product ACER_FFM, made by MOKA), Google TV on Android 14, firmware UKR1.260612.001

Realtek RTD2875P SoC, RTD6748 platform, 2 GB RAM. The remote reports as "RC860G Consumer Control". Same hardware family as examples/prismplus-q65-ultra-r10g/, but a different brand build (ACER_FFM) with its own preloads: Claro, Kick, JioTV, CBS, Apple TV and Prime Video. Stock launcher: com.google.android.apps.tv.launcherx (pass it to restore.sh). Live TV and inputs: keep com.realtek.dtv and com.realtek.tv.atv (HDMI and the other inputs use them). OTA: keep com.apps.ota and com.apps.authota. Keep com.realsil.ota too: it updates the remote. Input button: the RC860G remote sends KEYCODE_TV_INPUT (kernel scan code 225), not KEYCODE_TV. With the stock launcher gone nothing handles it, so enable the launcher's InputKeyService (INPUT_KEY_SERVICE=1). com.android.tv.action.VIEW_INPUTS resolves to com.realtek.tv/.SelectInputActivity. Tested on one set on 2026-10-19/20 with the reference launcher: the apps kept (Netflix, Disney+, Max, Spotify, YouTube, Twitch, GeForce NOW, Stremio) still launch, and HDMI input, Home and the Input button work. This list is fresh, not yet lived with for days; update it if something breaks.

Before you run it: every package below is disabled, not uninstalled. Comment out (prefix with #) any line for an app you use. Never disable the Play Store, Play Services, the on-screen keyboard or the TV input services that play HDMI. Switch USB debugging off when you are done.

Apply the Kalley R10G debloat

Turn on Developer options on the TV (Settings → Device Preferences → About → press OK on Build seven times), switch on USB debugging and, if shown, Network or ADB debugging. Then, from a clone of the cleanyourtv repository on a computer on the same Wi-Fi:

export TV_HOST=192.168.1.50   # your TV's IP address
tools/venv/bin/python -I tools/tv.py --probe
tools/disable.sh examples/kalley-r10g/debloat.txt

Then build and install the clean launcher, which makes itself the default Home and rolls back if it fails:

TV_HOST=192.168.1.50 launcher/build-and-install.sh

Prefer to let an assistant do it? Paste the cleanyourtv prompt into Claude Code with "Kalley R10G" as the model; it reads this list, checks each package on your TV and asks before anything that depends on your preferences.

Restore the Kalley R10G

TV_HOST=192.168.1.50 tools/restore.sh examples/kalley-r10g/debloat.txt com.google.android.apps.tv.launcherx

The restore script replays the state recorded before the change, so Home goes back to the launcher that owned it. More in the restore guide and the Google TV debloat guide.

16 packages, grouped as: Google partner setup and store plumbing; Preloaded services; Karaoke; Preloaded apps not used on this set; comment out anything you use and more. Comment out any line you want to keep before running it.

Does the Kalley R10G list work on a similar model?

Often, if the platform matches. Compare the device codename and firmware in the list header with Settings → About on your TV. The cleanyourtv prompt also checks each package on your own set before touching it, so a near match is a good starting point.

Will the Kalley R10G get the Apple TV-style launcher?

Yes. After debloating, cleanyourtv builds its small native launcher (about 300 KB) and makes it the default Home, rolling back automatically if Home does not land on it.

How do I undo the Kalley R10G debloat?

Run TV_HOST=<tv ip> tools/restore.sh examples/kalley-r10g/debloat.txt com.google.android.apps.tv.launcherx. It replays the record saved before the change. Full steps are in the restore guide.
