How to debloat a Xiaomi TV with cleanyourtv
Xiaomi TVs and Mi Box streamers ship with PatchWall, Xiaomi's own content layer, plus analytics and promo services that put sponsored rows in front of your apps. The original cleanyourtv story started on a Xiaomi set that showed an ad before Netflix.

On some Xiaomi firmware the default keyboard points at an app that is not installed, so search fields show no keyboard after debloating. Setting Gboard as the input method fixes it, as the Mi TV 4A list explains.
