About this Philips Smart 4K TV list
Header: Philips Smart 4K TV (India), Google TV 14, firmware UKN5.251016.083
Built by Skyworth (ro.product.manufacturer=skyworth, ro.product.brand=Philips, ro.product.model="Philips Smart 4K TV", device eleonas), MediaTek SoC, about 1.8 GB RAM. Skyworth's own packages use the com.smartdevice, com.sky and com.tianci prefixes. Stock launcher: com.google.android.apps.tv.launcherx (pass it as STOCK_LAUNCHER / to restore.sh). Live TV app: com.cltv.hybrid (iWedia CanaliTV); set it as live_tv_package and in hidden_apps in launcher config.xml. com.mediatek.tv.oneworld.tvcenter is already disabled from the factory. Also disabled from the factory, so not listed (restore.sh would turn them ON): com.sky.market (Skyworth store), com.mediatek.opapp, com.mediatek.tv.retaildemo, the ATSC and ISDB tuners. Quirks on this firmware, all checked on the TV: - USB debugging alone does NOT open port 5555, not even after a restart. Pair once with Wireless debugging (`dns-sd -B _adb-tls-pairing._tcp` or `adb mdns services` shows the random ports, then `adb pair <ip>:<port> <code>`, `adb connect <ip>:<connect port>`), then `adb tcpip 5555` and tools/tv.py works. - Assistant/Gemini is com.google.android.katniss. In-app speech recognition is a separate service in com.google.android.tts, which stays enabled; with katniss off the remote's mic button does nothing. - SonyLIV and ZEE5 ship as archived stubs (ReactivateActivity): they reinstall from Play on first launch. - Tested on the day of the debloat, not yet lived with for days.
Before you run it: every package below is disabled, not uninstalled. Comment out (prefix with #) any line for an app you use. Never disable the Play Store, Play Services, the on-screen keyboard or the TV input services that play HDMI. Switch USB debugging off when you are done.

Apply the Philips Smart 4K TV debloat
Turn on Developer options on the TV (Settings → Device Preferences → About → press OK on Build seven times), switch on USB debugging and, if shown, Network or ADB debugging. Then, from a clone of the cleanyourtv repository on a computer on the same Wi-Fi:
export TV_HOST=192.168.1.50 # your TV's IP address
tools/venv/bin/python -I tools/tv.py --probe
tools/disable.sh examples/philips-smart-4k-google-tv/debloat.txt Then build and install the clean launcher, which makes itself the default Home and rolls back if it fails:
TV_HOST=192.168.1.50 launcher/build-and-install.sh Prefer to let an assistant do it? Paste the cleanyourtv prompt into Claude Code with "Philips Smart 4K TV" as the model; it reads this list, checks each package on your TV and asks before anything that depends on your preferences.
Restore the Philips Smart 4K TV
TV_HOST=192.168.1.50 tools/restore.sh examples/philips-smart-4k-google-tv/debloat.txt com.google.android.apps.tv.launcherx The restore script replays the state recorded before the change, so Home goes back to the launcher that owned it. More in the restore guide and the Google TV debloat guide.
