Android 12 (Google TV, API 31), build BRAVIA_VH2_SA-user 12 STT2.230505.001.S136 682241 Same device and build number as examples/sony-bravia-4k-vh2 (KD-55X80J, EU firmware), but the SA firmware ships com.sony.dtv.promos and Apple TV enabled, and none of the EU broadcaster apps. examples/sony-kd-65x80j is the same platform on older Android 10 firmware (India). Stock launcher: com.google.android.apps.tv.launcherx (Google TV). Pass it to restore.sh as above. Live TV / tuner app: com.sony.dtv.tvx (set it as live_tv_package in the launcher's config.xml and hide it). Keep the com.sony.dtv.tvinput.* services, com.sony.dtv.tvapi, com.sony.dtv.sonysystemservice, the Sony settings apps and all com.mediatek.*: they drive HDMI, the tuner, updates and the remote. Kept by owner's choice: Netflix, YouTube, Prime Video, Disney+, Apple TV, voice assistant, Chromecast built-in (mediashell), AirPlay and firmware updates. Already disabled at the factory: com.sony.dtv.homekit, com.sony.dtv.seeds.iot, com.sony.dtv.livingfit, com.sonypicturescore, com.sony.dtv.b2b.vendorprotocol, com.sony.dtv.b2b.softap. Not in this list, so restore.sh leaves them as they are. Checked on the TV (wired Ethernet): - The remote's Input button opens the input switcher everywhere (systemui handles it), so the launcher was installed without the Input-button service (no INPUT_KEY_SERVICE). - setupwraith disabled with no side effects on Ethernet (Wi-Fi saved during setup not tested). - launcherx and dreamx disabled only after the new launcher was installed, with the launcher's clock as screensaver: settings put secure screensaver_components com.gathin.tvhome/.ClockDream - Everything stays disabled and Home stays on the new launcher after `svc power reboot`. - Screenshots come out empty while Netflix is on screen; press Home first. - Launcher config: live_tv_package com.sony.dtv.tvx, hidden apps com.sony.dtv.tvx and the Vewd browser (com.vewd.core.integration.dia). Applied and reboot-checked on 19 October 2026, not yet lived with for days. If something breaks, re-enable it with `pm enable <package>` and please report it.

Apply the Sony BRAVIA KD-55X85J debloat

Turn on Developer options on the TV (Settings → Device Preferences → About → press OK on Build seven times), switch on USB debugging and, if shown, Network or ADB debugging. Then, from a clone of the cleanyourtv repository on a computer on the same Wi-Fi:
