About this TCL 65C725 list
Header: TCL 65C725 (reports as "Smart TV Pro", device BeyondTV4), Android TV 11 (SDK 30)
build RP1A.200622.001 release-keys. Turkey/EU retail unit. Likely a good starting point for other TCL Android TV 11 sets of the same C-series era. Stock launcher: com.google.android.tvlauncher — the launcher/ in this repo replaces it, and the restore.sh / build-and-install.sh defaults are already correct for this TV (no arg needed). Live TV app: com.tcl.tvinput — kept (it also owns HDMI/antenna playback). Hide its tile in the launcher config if you like; the Inputs menu covers it. Applied and re-verified on a real unit on 2026-10-18: Wi-Fi stayed up and Home, the Inputs dropdown and app launches all worked after the full list. Known quirks on this firmware: - Android 11 package visibility: the launcher in this repo needs a <queries> block for MAIN+LEANBACK_LAUNCHER intents or its app grid comes up empty (verified with that patch). - screencap writes an empty file while Live TV/HDMI is on screen. Press Home first. - com.tcl.tv is deliberately NOT disabled here: it also hosts HbbTV and the Eva voice plumbing. DO NOT DISABLE on TCL (load-bearing): com.tcl.providers.config # disabling this is reported to drop the Wi-Fi connection com.tcl.initsetup # setup/provisioning, same Wi-Fi role com.tcl.factory.view # factory wizard, same role com.tcl.system.server # remote-key plumbing com.tcl.tcl_bt_rcu_service # Bluetooth remote pairing com.tcl.autopair # Bluetooth remote auto-pairing com.tcl.tvinput # Live TV tuner + HDMI inputs com.tcl.settings # settings app com.tcl.inputmethod.international # keyboard
Before you run it: every package below is disabled, not uninstalled. Comment out (prefix with #) any line for an app you use. Never disable the Play Store, Play Services, the on-screen keyboard or the TV input services that play HDMI. Switch USB debugging off when you are done.

Apply the TCL 65C725 debloat
Turn on Developer options on the TV (Settings → Device Preferences → About → press OK on Build seven times), switch on USB debugging and, if shown, Network or ADB debugging. Then, from a clone of the cleanyourtv repository on a computer on the same Wi-Fi:
export TV_HOST=192.168.1.50 # your TV's IP address
tools/venv/bin/python -I tools/tv.py --probe
tools/disable.sh examples/tcl-65c725/debloat.txt Then build and install the clean launcher, which makes itself the default Home and rolls back if it fails:
TV_HOST=192.168.1.50 launcher/build-and-install.sh Prefer to let an assistant do it? Paste the cleanyourtv prompt into Claude Code with "TCL 65C725" as the model; it reads this list, checks each package on your TV and asks before anything that depends on your preferences.
Restore the TCL 65C725
TV_HOST=192.168.1.50 tools/restore.sh examples/tcl-65c725/debloat.txt The restore script replays the state recorded before the change, so Home goes back to the launcher that owned it. More in the restore guide and the Android TV debloat guide.
